get involved

Screen Shot 2014-02-02 at 12.27.51 PMHow come so many of us go through these feelings of self-doubt, or if successful feel like an imposter, just waiting to get caught out? Why?

It is a question Amy and I have asked ourselves, and not only do we want to know why, but we also want to learn what can we do to change this negative impression we have ourselves.

How can we change those inner words that pull us down, put us in our place, and come up with a vocabulary that enhances and builds our self-esteem instead of putting ourselves down?

So we are researching, reading and reacting to what we are hearing and learning. There has to be a better way, and there has to be a way we can empower young women so they don’t follow in our footsteps.

We are on a quest to find the answers.   And you can help.  If self-doubt is an issue close to your heart or you have beaten down this demon, and you want to share your insights, contact us.  We’d love to hear from you.

  1. Great ideas Amy and Anne . . . so true women often live in self doubt.
I think our society scares us – women are attacked on all levels.
And many of us come from rather dysfunctional homes.

The answer I believe is part spiritual – knowing our true identity.
And part belonging to a healthy community where we raise each other up.

I don’t agree that it’s positive only . . . I think that is just the other side of the same coin of negative.
I think it’s learning to be realistic and living in hope that the future will be different if we strive for being healthy. If we didn’t have great role models we need to find some.

Here to support you in your research and journey – sounds fabulous – blessings to you both and keep making a difference
