Anne Day, Company of Women
Anne Day has long been an advocate for women, with much of her career dedicated to helping women realize their potential.
While she has had an eclectic career from spearheading charities to working within the provincial government, to being an editor of a national parenting magazine, the focus of her work has always been on women and children.
Eleven years ago, she founded Company of Women, an award-winning organization that supports, connects and promotes women entrepreneurs and is the author of three books, as well as a regular contributor for Huffington Post.
Anne has won numerous awards for her work, including the ATHENA Leadership Award for helping women realize their leadership potential and in 2009, was one of 57 women from around the world to receive the TIAW World of Difference Award for improving women’s economic independence globally.
Giving back is an integral part of her life, and she has served on numerous boards at the local, national and international level.
She is married with two adult daughters and lives on a farm near Guelph, Ontario
Amy Hunter, Encore Coaching Company
Amy is passionate health, wellness and empowering women to define their purpose and reach their potential.
She has had a diverse career with a common thread of guiding people to towards finding hope, purpose and commitment to healthy, fulfilling lives. She is a nurse and her work has focused on helping children and families, working initially in pediatric critical care and oncology. Deciding to shift her focus to helping people stay healthy she took on teaching the human body and how it works to school children. Through her role in public health she supported new parents through prenatal and parenting classes and visiting new moms and dads as they transitioned into their new parenting role.
She is currently on faculty at McMaster University teaching in the School of Nursing. She is also a published author and speaker.
Amy discovered the profession of coaching four years ago and graduated from an Ontological coaching program in 2010. She founded Encore Coaching Company providing coaching services to women and health care professionals. Her big dream is to empower women and health care professionals to thrive and live a good life by getting clear on their purpose and cares so they can have a bigger impact on their larger community.
Amy is a graduate of the Newfield Network Ontological Coach Training Program, an ICF accredited program. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from McMaster University, has her certificate in Organizational Health and Balance through Genuine Contact and is currently enrolled in a graduate program Coaching Excellence in Organizations. She holds a current registration with the International Coach Federation, Institute of Coaching Professionals and the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Amy lives in Milton with her four children and their loveable and hairy golden retriever and cat.
